WW2 German K98 Bayonet In Matching Number Scabbard 1939

Measuring 15 1/4 inches in length with a 10 inch drop forged, steel construction blade with wide fullers. Blade is serial numbered to the one side, and manufacture marked Carl Eickhorn to the opposite side. Two grooved bakalite grip panels secured by 2 slotted retaining screws, and a functioning release button. The bayonet shows 2 Waffen Amt stamps at the top of one side of the pommel. and a matching serial number metallic steel field scabbard. The bayonet is also with the leather frog that is manufacture marked to the reverse and dated 1939. The blade is in very good condition with the scabbard and frog being in very good condition showing expected wear and use. Some finish loss to the pommel. SKU: 63888
