WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officer's Etched Blade Dagger Horster

Measuring 15 inches in length with a 9 7/8 inch drop forged steel, etched nickel/silver plated stiletto style blade with dual, narrow, central fullers. The blade is maker marked to the one side, E.u.F. Horster, Solingen in an oval with the initial logo to the centre. Gilt cross guard and pommel with the locking release button to the one side of the cross guard. White celluloid grip with twisted, dual strand, brass wire wrap that is tight, and all in very good condition. Etched lightning bolt design brass scabbard with 2 suspension rings. Scabbard shows a few door knocks, which is common. One brass retaining screw missing to the top of the scabbard.  Some discoloration and drag marks to the blade. The dagger fits, and locks tightly to the scabbard. SKU: 65150
