WW2 German Landessch'utzen (P.O.W. Guard - Eastern Front) Soldbuch Book

Measuring 4.25 by 5.75 inches, with all period handwritten entries. No photo present. Named to a member of the Landessch'utzen who's personnel were drawn from the classes of 35-45 year-old men. The primary mission of Landessch'utzenbataillone in the interior was assigned to guarding POWs (1 battalion per Stalag). The book also shows 2 entries for the Landessch'utzen 403 Battalion (403rd Security Division) who were a rear-security division in the Wehrmacht. During the whole war, the 403rd Security Division was used throughout the war mainly on the Eastern Front for security tasks in the rear army area, such as capturing scattered Soviet soldiers and commissars.
