WW2 German Luftwaffe M42 Single Decal Camouflage Helmet

Stamped, sheet steel construction helmet with the left side having a second pattern, (Circa 1936/1937-1945) Luftwaffe eagle decal. The retains a good amount of the original factory blue/grey paint, with remnants of the period applied dark green field green camouflage. All three rivets in place with all having some looseness from age and wear. upon inspection to the interior, the rivets are all factory machine set with no signs of tampering or any re-bending being present. The interior shows the issue M31 leather line in a nice worn and used condition, with a period applied hand written naming. Leather chin strap in place, complete and showing wear with any markings having been worn away from use and wear. Manufacture marked with lot number to the back of the inner brim.  SKU: 61921
