WW2 RCN Royal Canadian Navy Personals Case With Contents HMCS Niobe HMCS Strathcona

Leather personals case (suitcase) measuring 13 1/2 by 10 by 5 1/4 inches with a leather covered carry handle and white metal lock and fixtures and period hand applied art work to the top with a faint naming to V33331 Patrick Pratt. Case contains his naval pay and identity book, named to him, and stamped to the inner back cover HMCS Niobe and dated March 18, 1943, and a second naval pay and identity book, also named to him for service on the HMCS Strathcona, dated December 17, 1943. Contents also include black and white photo measuring 5 by 7 inches on an 8 by 10 matte board of a soldier in uniform with a Canadian Ross Rifle, along with a portion of his naval collar with period hand applied signatures of some of the crew from the HMCS Monnow and dated October 28, 1944, and December 15, 1944. It is also accompanied with his WW2 fiber I.D. tag (dog tag), his named Seamans pocket Book dated June 1943, and RCN Barracks pamphlet from Halifax, Nova Scotia, a cardboard ship direction chart in the issue sleeve, a Department of Defence Leave Ticket, his WW2 National Registration Certificate, a binoculars instruction sheet, a Knights Of Columbus Canadian Army Huts pamphlet, a Hostels, Canteens, Etc. for men and women of service  map pamphlet, a Cafe Royal menu from Belfast, a 1943-1944 Newfoundland individual Liquor Permit made out in his name, a small I.D. booklet in his name for the HMS Fennel, and his named Naval Service Identification card showing him serving on the HMCS "Donncaona".
