WW2 United States Air Force Type II Dark Adaptation Folding Goggles In Packet 1944

In mint and unissued condition, a nice pair of US WW2 dark adaption goggles in their original envelope packet. Manufacture marked by The American Optical Co. and dated 1944. These were used to aclimatize the wearer’s eyes for night time flying. Simple folding leather frame with ‘fur’ trim and celluloid lenses. Webbing and elastic strap with basic clasp fittings.
