WW2 United States Harrington And Richardson Mark IV Flare Pistol

A massive and heavy WW2 flare pistol measuring 10 1/2 inches overall with 7 3/4 inch steel barrel and a copper frame and trigger guard. Swinging breech block with hinge  and a spring loaded cartridge case ejector rod bellow the barrel. Marked to the top of the barrel, "Harrington & Richardson Arms Company, Worchester, Mass, USA Patent Pending", and "For Parachute And Signal Flares". Also stamped to the right side of the breech, "Mark IV 1 7/16". Serial number stamped "402" to the front lower portion of the grip. Missing the steel lanyard ring that could be replaced, and shows a small indentation to the muzzle of the barrel that could be repaired. SKU: 62652  CANADIAN SALES ONLY
