WW2 United States Navy USN Ka-Bar Mk.2 Fighting Knife In Scabbard

Measuring 12 inches in total length with a 7 7/8 inch, partially fullered blade and a steel ross guard, that is marked KA-BAR to one side, and USN MK. 2 to the opposite side. Stacked, shaped leather handle with a flat circular steel pommel. Held in an unmarked leather case with a leather securing strap and brass button tab. The KA-BAR marking to the guard indicates manufacture in 1944 or later. Earlier models were marked to the blade and to the scabbard. This model of knife would have been used most likely by the Marines as they are part of the US Navy. SKU: 63871
