Pre-WW1 Antique British Sharpe London Double Flint Coach Pistol Circa 1805-1810
60 Cal. smoothbore flintlock double barrel coach pistol measuring 11 1/2 inches overall with 6 inch barrels with the center rib marked "Warranted", and border engraved side plates, each marked "Sharpe". The tang behind the barrels are fully, and deeply engraved as is the finial in the wood below the ramrod channel. Trigger guard and finial above is also engraved, and a silver initial plate is present to the top of the wrist. English walnut stock, with checkering to each side that remains sharp and a single barrel key to hold the barrels in place. Original brass tipped ramrod in place. Stock is with the original color and oil finish with light handling marks present. All meatal parts are in the white, with a light grey color being present. Discoloration spotting present to the barrels with some very fine light pitting being present. Locks, pans, and frizzens are in very good condition and the mechanism being excellent with strong springs, and positive ignition from both triggers. SKU: 59493
