Pre-WW1 Antique French Model 1777 Charleville Flintlock Cavalry Pistol

Measuring 13.5 inches in total length with a tapered 7.5 inch barrel in .69 cal. Single shot flintlock with a brass frame and trigger guard and pistol grip cap, with a steel barrel, back strap, ramrod, and belt hook to the left side of the action. European walnut stock with the dark and even color and finish with some handling marks present. Barrel shows a single proof mark to the left side, with the letter "L" under a Crown stamped to the right side of the action. Nice, even, grey brown finish to the barrel that was originally produced in the white. The brass action and trigger guard at some point in history. Action functions correctly with a strong spring. Issue steel ramrod in place.
