Measuring 16 3/4 inches overall with a 12 inch double edged blade that is proof marked and War Department marked to one side, and manufacture marked to the other and dated 7-96 (July 1896) with a Victorian Crown. 2 piece wood grip panels with brass retaining pins. Stamped to the cross guard with the number 233. Some age staining to the blade. Bayonet only. No Scabbard. SKU: 61588
