Deactivated WW2 Canadian Mk.II Sten Gun - Chinese Contact

All steel construction made on contact in 1945 by Long Branch, Ontario, for export to China. Marked to the mag well, "Sten Mk.II Long Branch 1945" to one side, with Chinese characters to the opposite side. Old spec "cock and click" deactivation with a locking bolt that releases from the trigger pull and removeable magazine that has had the follower welded in place. Weld blocked in the chamber with a sheared bolt face and the collar and barrel welded in place. With external welds that prevents any access to the interior. Does not, and cannot be made to accept ammunition of any kind. Very good condition overall.
