WW2 German Deactivated P38 Service Pistol byf 42

Deactivated WW2 German P38 S/A service pistol, originally chambered for the 9mm cartridge.  8 1/2 inches in total length with a 4.9 inch barrel with an adjustable v-notch rear sight and an adjustable blade front sight. 2 piece, grooved bakalite grip panels and a metal lanyard ring to the lower left side. Stamped P38 to the front, left side of the frame with the manufacture's code byf42 and a Waffen Amp stamp ahead of the safety switch. Right side of the frame shows 3 Waffen Amp stamps in a row above the grip panel. Matching umber throughout and retains approx. 90% of the original finish with dullness from handling and use. Grips are in very good condition showing light wear. Current spec deactivation with no moving parts other than the safety switch and with a non-removeable magazine.
