French Made Chilean Model 1889 Cavalry Sabre

Measuring 39 3/4 inches in total length with a 33 1/2 inch polished steel single edged fullered blade and large polished steel basket hilt and one piece grooved hard rubber grip. French maker's mark in script to the top of the spine and proof marked to the lover portion of the blade and showing the Chilean crest to the opposite side. Blade is mostly bright with some age spotting present. No scabbard present.
