Named And Cased 1904 -1918 RN Royal Navy Officers Epaulette And Bicorn Hat Set

Gold bullion wire epaulette pair with sterling silver fouled anchors and silver bullion wire raised and padded Crowns. Brass connectors to the reverse, marked left and right with gold embossed maker marked backings. Bicorn hat of high quality with gold bullion wire to match the epaulettes. Maker marked to the interior. The three pieces are fitted into a burgundy velvet lined, black Japanned metal case that measures 18 by 9 by 8 inches in size with a hinged lift lid with an interior velvet pocket. Outside of the case has the makers shield plate to the lid,  and with a metal hasp lock and a brass carry handle to the top. Lid is named to A. Fairley, R.N. with the makers transport paper label to the top and paper labels to the front and sides of the case.
