Wool construction with white piping and a gold bullion thread band to the leather visor. Brass side buttons with leather chinstrap in place. Enamel on gilt brass and white metal RASC badge to the front. Leather sweatband in place to the interior with period handwritten naming 'Capt. Preston'.
