Post-WW2 United States Navy USN Gentex H-4-1 Flying Helmet RCAF Issued

Circa 1950, the USN H-4-1  flying helmet by General Textiles Mills Inc. (Gentex).  Size medium. The H-4 is manufactured with an epoxy resin reinforced rigid shell and a cloth material, removeable liner to the interior. The helmet is complete with the sunshade visor and Type A-13-A oxygen mask. Also complete with the electronics and connecting jack. All labels in place to the interior of the helmet and liner. Originally produced with the shell in a gold color, it has been overpainted in yellow for RCAF use, with an ARCAF label to the interior of the shell. Faint, period hand applied naming to the leather portion of the interior of the helmet.  Complete and ready to display. SKU: 65860
