Pre-WW1 U.S. Model 1878/1904 Spanish American War Haversack New York Infantry

Constructed of canvas with reinforced borders with a front closure flap that is marked with 2 crossed service rifles over the number 1, with the the letter L above NY with a larger letter L below and S1. Closure flap has a single canvas strap to a metal roller buckle to cover the inner compartments. Number 38 stenciled to the lower left corner. 2 brass suspension hooks in place to the top of the reverse side. Measures 14 by 14 1/2 inches. SKU: 63185
