Manufactures between 1873-1888 in the 32 short rimfire caliber. Single action, spur trigger, 5 shot pocket pistol with a 2-3/4 inch solid rib barrel, and ejector rod below. Nickel finish with 2 piece checkered hard rubber gips. Marked to the top of the barrel, E.REMINGTON & SONS, ILLION N.Y. / PAT. W.S. SMOOT, OCT.21, 1873. Functioning correctly, the pistol is in excellent condition, including mechanically. Traces of the case color hardening finish to the steel hammer. A few very small, and very slight flaked to the finish of the cylinder, otherwise excellent overall with 99.8% of the original nickel finish being present and the grips also being excellent with sharp checkering.
