Blackened brass and leather covered field binoculars with adjustable eye pieces. Maker marked to one side, W. Watson & Sons, London to the one side, and with a British Broadarrow to the opposite side. The outed side is marked with a "no.16" to the one side, and with a large British Broadarrow to the opposite side. In the leather field case with an adjustable carry strap and a brass roller buckle. The front of the case is stamped with 2 large British Broadarrows. Top of the closure lid is stamped "D. De. R." over a large British Broadarrow stamping, with the interior of the leather closure lid maker marked on fabric, W. Watson & Sons Ltd., Established 1837, 313 High Holborn, London. Opticians to H.M. Government. Hand applied initials to the top and bottom of the case, A.R. The body of the binoculars are in very good condition showing only very light wear with some stiffness to the eye adjustments. Optics are fairly clear and good for the age. SKU: 63441
