WW1 British Pattern 1907 bayonet for use with the SMLE #1 Mk.III bolt action service rifle in 303 British. Measuring 22 inches overall with a single edged, fullered, 17 1/4 inch blade maker marked to the one sire, "Wilkinson", and stamped 1907 with a King's Crown and dated 1918. Proof marked to the opposite side and stamped with a British Broadarrow. Complete with the leather and metal field scabbard showing a reissue stamp to the reverse, "Mangrove 1944, and with a webbed material pattern 37 frog that is maker marked to the reveres and dated 1943. Blade shows use and wear, with the 2 piece wood grip panels being in good condition and having a working release button. SKU: 63124
