WW1 Canadian 1907 Ross Rifle Bayonet - U.S. Issue

Measuring 14 3/4 inches overall with a 10 inch unaltered blade and 2 piece wood grip panels. Marked to the right side of the pommel, "Ross Rifle company, Quebec, Patented 1907" and date stamped 10-10 (October 1910) with a Canadian C-Broadarrow to the left side, along with two proof marks that also appears on the spine between the grip panels. Working release button in place. One wood grip panel and face of the scabbard are stamped "U.S." with the flaming bomb, to the grip panel. Number stamped 243 to the throat of the scabbard along with a single proof mark. Lower reverse of the scabbard stamped with a  Canadian C-Broadarrow and date stamped 1909. .
