WW1 Canadian CEF 2nd CMG Canadian Machine Gun Battalion Uniform Set

WW1 Canadian 2nd CMG Canadian Machine Gun Battalion Uniform Set, comprising of the tunic, pants, and visor cap. British 5 button, 4 pocket front tunic with a hook collar and all buttons in place. Each upper arm with the cloth 2nd Machine Gun Battalion formation patches. Lower right sleeve with embroidered on cloth 3 year overseas service chevron. Brass CANADA shoulder titles to each epaulette and brass Canadian Machine Gun Battalion collar badges in place. A pinback ribbon bar is above the right breast pocket for the Victory medal and BWM. Remnants of the paper label to the interior, and with War Department markings. Pattern 1902 straight leg pants that are marked to the interior. All buttons are present. Cuffs have rolled up, with the creases showing they have been this way for a very long time. The pants are very clean, showing some wear, and some small moth nips present. They are accompanied with an unmarked leather waist belt with a brass roller buckle and a pair of British made putties that have the manufacture labels in place to each. Both show use and wear, with one being cut into 2 sections, which could be repaired if desired. The set is also with the WW1 soft visor cap with brass badge to the front, and leather chin strap in place held in place by 2 small side buttons. The soldier has "customised"  the chin strap by adding extra sliding buckles to each side. Leather sweatband to the interior that shows expected wear. No visible markings present. SKU: 63500
