WW1 Canadian medal grouping comprising of the ribbon mahogany, bubble glass framed photo of the soldier with his wife and child, along with his WW1 BWM (British War Medal) correctly named to 294190 CPL. T. JOHNSON C.F.C. with letter and his fibre I.D. tag, oval white metal I.D. tag, and cap badge with both lugs in place to the reverse. Thorlakur Johnson was born in Thingeyarsysla Iceland, immigrating to Winnipeg, Manitoba, and with previous service in the 90th Winnipeg Rifles. He attestated with the 223rd Battalion, Canadian Forestry Corps on March 4, 1916, and was discharged on April 15, 1920. SKU: 63840
