Roscoe Leonard Phillips from Woodbridge Ontario served for 5 years with the 12th York Rangers prior to WW1, and attestated on September 20, 1914 with the 17th Battalion, Nova Scotia Highlanders, and later transferring to the 15th Battalion, 48th Highlanders Of Canada. Died on 16-2-15 in the 1st Canadian General Hospital from pneumonia brought on by pulmonary tuberculosis.
