WW1 Canadian P08 M.G. Machine Gun Officer's Webbing Set

Webbed construction comprising of the P08 waist belt with brass fixtures. Maker marked to the interior, M.E. CO. and dated 1916 with a British Broadarrow. Cross straps in place an both maker marked M.E. CO. and dated 1917 and both having a British Broadarrow stamp. The very rare special brace attachments present that attaches the cross straps to the belt without the use of the ammunition pouches, with one being marked H.G.R. Ltd. and dated 1918. Also in place is an unmarked but period leather open top holster for use with the Webley large frame service revolver in 455 cal. and the unmarked leather pistol ammunition pouch to the opposite side.
