Measuring 14 3/4 inches in total length with a 10 inch unaltered blade. Proof marked to the spine and to the 2 wooden grip panels with the right grip panel being marked "L838". Manufacture marked to one side of the pommel with a Canadian C-Broadarrow, and a July 1910 date to the opposite side, next to the functioning release button, along with a Canadian C-Broadarrow stamp. Top of the pommel is stamped L1 1DDW 95. Leather scabbard in place that is Canadian C-Broadarrow marked to the frog portion and to the reverse that is also date stamped 1911. Reverse of the frog is stamped 8 P.L.H. (8th Princess Louise's N.B. Hussars) along with the number 83. Blade is in very good condition being bright and clean with original sharpening and very minor discoloration marks. Leather scabbard is soft and subtle with strong stitching throughout.
