Measuring 14 3/4 inches in total length with a 10 inch altered blade to better penetrate uniforms. proof marked to the spine between the 2 wooden grip panels, with one panel also being proof marked. Manufacture marked to one side of the pommel with a Canadian C-Broadarrow, and a November 1916 date to the opposite side, next to the functioning release button. Scabbard is marked with a Canadian C-Broadarrow and stamped with the number 10 for the 10th Battalion, and also stamped with the service number 20632 for Lt. Arthur William Hayter who served overseas and received a GSW to the chest and was awarded the DCM for his service. Scabbard is stamped "Mk.II" and also dated 1916 with a Canadian C-Broadrrow,
