WW1 Pattern 1907 SMLE Hook Quillon Bayonet Sanderson 1912

For use with the SMLE #1 Mk.III service rifle in 303 British. Measuring 21 3/4 inches overall with a 17 1/4 inch single edged, blued, fullered blade and 2 piece wood grip panels. Marked Sanderson with a King's Crown above and 1907. Date stamped 1 - 12 (January 1912) to the one side and proof marked with a British Broadarrow to the opposite side. Working release button in place and marked to the pommel on the opposite side. Blade retains a large amount of the blued finish to the blade and having the steel hook quillon cross guard in place. Leather and steel field scabbard in place. A rarer and harder to find bayonet. SKU: 62253
