WW2 Airborne, Horsa Glider Pilot's Quick Release Lap/Seat Belt 1940

Constructed of heavy webbing material in 3 sections and measuring 31 inches overall with each section marked 'L.A.C. Ltd.' and dated 1940. Both end sections have large grommets which were used to secure the belt to the sides of the pilot's seat, with metal fittings which are part of the quick release system. Shows some use and wear.
