WW2 British Canadian FS Fairbairn Sykes 3rd Pattern Fighting Knife

Measuring 11 1/2 inches overall with a blackened, double edged, 6 1/2 inch stiletto blade. Cast blackened brass handle has twenty-seven concentric rings, with mold number 1 to the top of the pommel below the dome shaped top nut. Steel cross guard is stamped ENGLAND, as is the the scabbard at the top denoting that the knife was exported. A nice example in the issue scabbard. Retaining elastic has a break, which is common.
