Inert, number 69 grenade, constructed of hard plastic with a screw off cap at the top. When the grenade was thrown, a linen tape with a curved lead weight on the end automatically unwrapped in flight, freeing a ball-bearing inside the fuze, thus detonating the grenade. Linen tape with the curved lead weight is in place to the interior. Lower portion of the body is marked with a white British Broadarrow, and the base marked "No.69", and dated 1943. SKU: 62684 INERT-CANADIAN SALES ONLY.
