Wood construction measuring 16 1/2 by 8 1/2 by 10 3/4 inches with a wood lid secured by 2 metal bands, and canvas material carry handles to the sides. Several labels in place to the exterior showing the case contained 1248 Rounds of 303 British Mk. VII cartridges, dated both 1943 and 1944. Labels also the sides and removeable wood top lid that also shows the case being re-used by the Canadian Military for bayonets in 1955. No metal liner to the interior. SKU: 62288
