Double action, six shot, top break service revolver originally chambered for the .38 S&W cartridge. Manufactured with a 5 inch barrel, and without a hammer spur for use with tank crews. Two piece checkered hard rubber grip panels with a circular brass insert to the right side. Enfield marked to the right side of the frame and marked "No.2 Mk.I* and a King's Crown with the date 1940 below. Stamped ".38 CAL" to the top of he barrel with a single proof mark and a 1940 date. The pistol shows a large amount of he original finish with some field green paint being present to the back of the grip strap and grips. No lanyard ring present. A very good example.
