WW2 Canadian Captured German P38 Hard Shell Holster -1st Can Para

Early pattern brown leather field holster for the German Walther P38 service pistol with a large leather flap front closure to a leather tab and meatal clasp. Leather compartment to the side for the spare magazine and 2 leather belt loops in place. Stamped to the top right of the reverse, "P38" and maker marked to the top left corner with a single Waffen Amt stamp. Period applied hand writing to the reverse, "First Canadian Parachute Btn.".Hand applied naming and information to the interior of the flap closure.
