Old spec deactivation, cock and click, WW2 Canadian Mk.I Bren Gun with an early production date of 1941. Originally chambered for the 303 British cartridge, and marked "Bren Mk.I m" to the right side of the action, along with "Inglis 1941", which is the 2nd year of production. Back top of the action, tripod, stock and other parts marked "DP" for drill purpose, a conversion done after the arm was taken out of war service, and then later deactivated. Dial sight and an adjustable bipod to the front. Action locks back and releases from the trigger. Barrel is welded in place, but has a moving release lever, as does the selector switch. Removeable magazine that has the follower welded in place, and  with sliding the dust cover in place to the top of the action. Barrel is welded in place with a weld block chamber, and both internal and external welds that prohibit any use of ammunition or access to the interior. Barrel serial number does not match, as is usually the case as barrels were changed in the field. An excellent example that rates 9.5 / 10 condition of this iconic WW2 item in a cock and click deactivated configuration. Only one available. SKU: 62939  DEACTIVATED. CANADIAN SALES ONLY. NO PAL REQUIRED.
