WW2 Canadian Issue 1st Canadian Parachute Corps Fairbairn Sykes 2nd Pattern B2 Fighting Knife

Measuring 11 3/4 inches overall with a  6 3/4 inch double edged, stiletto blade and steel cross guard with a checkered brass grip. Cross guard is stamped "B2" with a British Broad Arrow to one side, with the blade marked with a Canadian C- Broad Arrow to the one upper side. Blackened donut shaped pommel nut in place. The finely checkered brass grip having expected finish loss. In the leather and blackened brass scabbard that is Canadian C-Broad Arrow marked to the boot. Retaining elastic in place to the top of the scabbard.  Blade is with the original sharpening, untouched, and showing almost all of the blackened finish. A rare WW2 item. SKU: 64059
