WW2 Canadian Photo Album belonging to Henry Griffiths of the War Disease Control Center. The album measures 6 3/4 by 20 inches and contains 59 WW2 and post-war black and white photos within the 62 pages that also contain caricatures with write ups and signatures of fellow soldiers and colleagues, 26 in total. The album contains 4 photos of Henry Griffiths in uniform, other soldiers an military photos, landscapes, military buildings, landmarks, and photos of the interior of the lab at the War Disease Control Center. The album is accompanied with a Spring 1896 copy pf the Veterinary Medicine publication from the College of Veterinary Medicine announcing the death of Henry Griffiths, and stating that he had volunteered for the Canadian Army in 1943, and during WW2 was stationed at a War Disease Control Center, working on rinderpest and anthrax. He was later transferred to the Canadian Army Medical Corps where he took part in anti-biological warfare investigations. He received the CVSV medal and was discharged in 1946 at the rank of Captain.
