WW2 Canadian RCN Royal Canadian Navy Commodore Visor Cap With Cover

Black wool, one-piece crown visor cap with a black wool on leather visor and leather chin strap in place to the front secured by 2 small material covered side buttons. One row of raised gold wire oak leaves attached to visor, with a raised and padded, bullion wire cap badge with a raised white metal fouled anchor on black material backing cap badge to the front. The cap is complete with the white cover that has a button closure to the back. Cover shows some light staining from wear. Leather sweatband to the interior showing a hand written size of 6 7/8, with hand applied initials, "G.H.G.". SKU: 63286
