WW2 German Army Field Marshall Stein Pattern Officer's Sword In Scabbard

WW2 German Army Field Marshall Stein Pattern Officer's Sword, measuring 37 inches overall with a slightly curved, single edge, fullered blade that measures 33 1/2 inches in length. Maker marked Eickhorn to the one side with company logo. Gilt finish cross guard, back strap, and knuckle bow that are all nicely done with raised raised oak leaf embossing, and lower shields with the outer having the raised eagle and German Army symbol. Contoured, molded, black, bakelite grip with a central bulge, with the horizontal grooves having white metal wire wrapping. Bakalite grip is excellent with tight and bright wire wrapping, and the gilt finish being very good and full with only a few small handling marks present, and wear marks to the interior of the bow. Blade is also excellent, and also being bright and clean with only a couple very small marks showing. The japaned black metallic field scabbard with single suspension ring is very good, having approx. 80% of the finish remaining, with some expected handling marks and blemishes. SKU: 63111
