WW2 German Army Officer's Sword In Scabbard Eickhorn Solingen

Measuring 36 3/4 inches in length with a 32 inch, slight curved , fullered nickel / silver plated steel blade, that is maker marked Eickhorn Solingen with the knight's head company logo, and leather washer in place. Fire gilt tombac, langets, cross guard, ferrule, "P" knuckle bow, back strap. Obverse langet has an embossed National eagle and symbol.  "P" knuckle bow all with ornate embossed oak-leaf pattern. Black bakelite grip with wire all intact. Sheet metal megnetic scabbard retains a large portion of it’s original black paint, with the hanger ring band and suspension ring still intact. One retaining rivet missing to the right side above the grips. SKU: 65834
