WW2 German Infantry Field Canteen

Field grey material covered canteen with black painted snap closures to one side. Black painted aluminum field cup with leather strap in place and metal clip to the reverse for connection to the waist belt. Cup is maker marked SSL and dated 1942 with the throat of the canteen also dated 1942 with the leather carrier also maker marked SSL and dated 1943.All in very good condition showing only minor wear.
