WW2 German Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Helmet

Stamped, sheet steel construction helmet with a second pattern, (1936/1937-1945)  Luftwaffe eagle decal that is bright and complete.  All three liner rivets are in place as is the M31 leather liner with all eight fingers. Manufacture marked leather chin strap with a white metal roller buckle. The inner brim is lot number stamped, with a manufacture code to the left side. Hand applied initials are also next to it. One of the liner fingers is marked as size 56. Outer shell shows expected age to the finish, as does the liner and chinstrap. A nice untouched example. SKU: 63954
