WW2 German M42 Combat Helmet

Standard late war example factory produced with no decal, used by the Heer, SS, and other branches. The helmet is maker marked 'ckl66' (Maker Eisenh'uttenwerk Thale / Herz in size 66) and lot number '3810'. Consulting the GHW2 lot number database, this helmet is consistent with other factory produced no decal helmets from this maker. Issue pig skin liner in place that is size stamped, with tight rivets throughout and no signs of tampering. Retains a large portion of its factory applied field-grey paint with honest wear showing in areas. Chinstrap not present. A nice example.
