WW2 German RAD Subordinates Hewer (Dagger)

With a broad drop forged steel, nickle/silver plated bowie style blade measuring 9 1/2 inches in length. Obverse of the blade shows the acid etched RAD motto, "Arbeit adelt" in Germanic script. The opposite side shows the makers mark, Carl Julkrebs, Solingen, below the RADJ inspection mark. Nickle/silver cross guard and pommel, with a number marked bolster that is also present and matching to the throat of the scabbard. Natural stag grip panels in place secured by 2 mounting bolts. Magnetic sheet metal scabbard with nickle/silver top and bottom, and maker marked steel hanger in place. Blade shows some drag marks which is common and some very light flaking to the finish at the tip of the blade. Some pitting, scratching. and finish loss to the scabbard.
