An 8th class award, ("Zuihosho"), established in January of 1888, was awarded to either military or civilian personnel for long service with good conduct. Die-struck silver medal, marked to the reverse, and translating to "Order of Merit Decoration". Issue ribbon in place, and housed in the issue presentation case that is marked to the top of the closure lid. Complete with the issue rosette to the interior. SKU: 62831
