WW2 United States 16 Inch M1 Garand Bayonet and Scabbard 1942

Measuring 20 1/2 inches overall with a 16 inch, single edge, fullered blade with a slightly rounded tip. Maker marked to one side of the blade, "U.F.H." (Union Fork & Hoe) with a Flaming Bomb flanked by "U.S." and the date 1942 below. The phosphate finish on the blade and handle is in excellent condition, with the expected wear of age. Two piece grooved, black, hard plastic grip panels with the scabbard release button below. Housed in the original; issue M3 Fiberglass scabbard with metal fittings that is also marked "U.S." with the flaming bomb. Scabbard also shows some expected use and wear, free of any damage.
