WW2 United States Army Air Force USAAF Bancroft Flighter Named Summer Visor Cap

A true Bancroft Flighter 'bomber pilot" visor cap worn by USAAF pilots in Europe and the Pacific. Constructed of khaki cotton material with a soft leather visor and chinstrap that is secured with 2 small brass side buttons. One piece brass badge in place to the front secured with a single screw post fastener. Marked to the interior sweatband, "Flighter By Bancroft", with hand applied naming, "Max F. Drozewski" at the badge backing and also at the edge of the leather sweatband. Manufactures label to the interior, "Bancroft Uniform Wear, Built to Endure" SKU: 65888
