WW2 United States Army Air Force USAAF B-6 Winter Leather Flight Helmet Size Medium

Leather material flight helmet with reinforced leather material edges, with 3 leather reinforcements from the front of the helmet to the back. The 2 leather loops with snap closures to hold the goggles in place are present. Leather chinstrap with black metal roller buckle and shearling wrap also in place. The blackened brass attachment and snap closures for the oxygen mask are also present. White shearling material to the interior with the manufactures label reading " Type B-6, DWG No. 42G6431 A.C. Order No. 427035P, Perry Sportswear Inc., Newbury, N.Y. Property Air Forces, U.S. Army". Leather is mostly soft and subtle with strong stitching throughout, showing expected wear. SKU: 65993
